Add two more forwards to the St. Louis Blues’ injured list for Tuesday’s game against the San Jose Sharks, as Jaden Schwartz and Vladimir Sobotka join David Backes on the mend.

Schwartz, 21, stands as another significant loss. He’s tied for sixth in team scoring with Kevin Shattenkirk with 22 points and draws the occasional rave review from head coach Ken Hitchcock.

Sobotka, 26, has almost a point every other game with 15 in 31 this season. That’s only four points short of what he generated in 48 contests last season.

The Blues are hoping to avoid a season sweep against the Sharks tonight, which doesn’t sound like an easy task with three noteworthy forwards out of the lineup.

Colaiacavo is playing left winger tonight… That’s a double whammy because it means Cole is back in the lineup. Not feeling too good about this game.

    LGB!

so you’re still convinced coliacovo is better than cole? you’re nuts. colaiacovo has been awful. not saying cole has been great but he’s been way better than carlo.

Cole tried to hand the game to Columbus the other night. Directly responsible for an odd man rush AND a breakaway late in the game. Carlo isn’t “good”, but at least he doesn’t make critical mistakes like that all the time. Cole has flashes of good play sandwiched by terrible play- Carlo is just consistently below average. As a first round pick, Cole is a bust. On a positive note, Leopold and Reaves skates this morning!!! ;)
