Quick (groin) feeling better with each day

The Kings have been just fine without their franchise goalie, but it’s good news all the same that Jonathan Quick‘s recovery from a groin strain seems to be going well.

“I think the last few weeks, every day seems to feel better than the day before,” Quick said today after taking some shots in the morning skate, per LA Kings Insider.

“It’s all good signs. I’ve still got a lot of work to do. You just come in and try to make the most of every day until you can get back and play again.”

Quick is fortunate that the strong play of Ben Scrivens and Martin Jones has allowed him to be patient in his recovery.

“The most important thing is doing what’s smart and not having any setbacks,” he said, while admitting he’s feeling antsy to “get going” and play again.

The Kings host Edmonton tonight, with Jones getting the nod for the home team and Ilya Bryzgalov starting for the visitors.

I’m pretty sure you didn’t mean it as moronic as it came out, perhaps you would like to clarify.

Yes, while its true we apparently have three very strong goaltenders and we have been doing well without him, you never want to tug on that lion’s tail too long. Jones has been doing great as well as Scrivens but Scrivens has lately been showing signs of slowing down. Jones will also, we need to get Quick back in the fold.

Use some common sense next time when posting, please.

If you guys remember, positively ‘everyone’ including the Pope himself thought that we Kings were in ‘big’ trouble when Quick was sidelined with injury a few weeks back. Well just look now at what’s happened since eh ? Both comrade Scrivens and Jones have ‘more’ than met the challenge, with the result being that we Kings are now poised to assert full command of the ‘entire’ league standings ! So you tell me … is that divine intervention or ‘esprit de corps’ in action ? I personally feel that what we’re seeing here is a bit of both. ‘Ours’ friends is a team of destiny, driven by both conviction and providence … and therefore as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, so too will we Kings reach the high ground this coming spring in-order to reclaim ‘that’ which is ours !

GO KINGS GO !!! … TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

ps: this Oside760 idiot needs to be ‘liquidated’ asap by some of our special action units eh ?
