One area Team USA could use a little help with for the 2014 Winter Olympics is at forward. Montreal Canadiens forward Alex Galchenyuk is playing well enough to land on the radar to be a possible selection. (NHL.com)

The calm before the storm on PHT- impending Thornton suspension later to throw keyboard daltons preparing for the doldrums.

Suspension reaction drinking game- sip your beer everytime: someone says “classless,” someone mentions “the code,” someone says Shanahan should just quit, someone says Orpik wasn’t really that hurt, someone says Marchand deserved or kind of deserved to be kneed, the term “butthutt” is thrown around, someone accuses another of never playing the game, an errant call for a lifetime ban is plead for, Crosby is referred to as “Crysby,” the Bruins are referred to as a “goon squad.”

    Then get your stomach pumped.
What’s dalton mean??? Watch roadhouse suckah.

And so he should. The kid has tremendous talent and a high hockey IQ. Needs to improve his defensive play, build upper brought strength, and acquire some maturity. All of which will happen with more experience. However, he may not be ready for a world stage event such as the Olympics in Sochi.
