Rangers looking to ‘fix’ their struggles after another loss

As frustration seems to mount, the New York Rangers are still searching for answers.

They’ll continue to look, following Monday’s 5-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets, in which the host Rangers were tied at two-goals apiece with the visitors heading into the final period.

It all came undone for the Rangers after that. Winnipeg got three consecutive goals to run away with the victory.

The Rangers sit with a record of 14-14-0. Not ideal. But in the Eastern Conference, all is not lost.

The Rangers remain third in the Metropolitan Division, a point up on the New Jersey Devils and two up on the Philadelphia Flyers – with of those teams losing tonight, as well.

“It’s on us. It needs to be fixed, it can’t continue this way if we want to be where we want to be at the end of the season,” said Rangers captain Ryan Callahan, as per the club’s website. “We have to be better.”

“It’s unacceptable and it’s something we have to correct in a hurry,” added defenseman Marc Staal, as per Katie Strang of ESPN.
