Vancouver Canucks head coach John Tortorella announced that Alexander Edler is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Edler, 27, suffered the ailment in Tuesday’s 3-1 win against the Nashville Predators.

The Swedish defenseman has missed time for Vancouver recently, but it’s all been due to two suspensions (one last season, one this one) instead of injuries. He has nine points in 27 games with a -12 rating in 2013-14.

I am surprised it’s not Luongo out hurt with the major flopping on the ice he did tonight. Really classless and embarrassing.

if you’re directing your incisive and largely accurate analysis of bobby luooooo’s on-ice posturing at canucks’ fans, you’re preaching to the choir buddy…

easily 98 percent would have preferred schneider to remain in the blue and green; mr. luongo chief among those

he is for all his on-ice fumblings, a decent enough guy away from the game…bad poet, great sense of humour

Seems to me that Roberto was getting run quite hard by the Preds……guess they figured that was their best chance to win. Didn’t help them score too many goals, I noticed.
