Video: Peluso scraps Falk, scores decisive victory

Dec 2, 2013, 9:00 PM EDT

Anthony Peluso might not be a household name, but he’s certainly making his presence known across the National Hockey League.

The Jets tough guy scored another decisive fighting victory on Monday night, this time against Rangers defenseman Justin Falk:

Peluso, 24, was originally a Blues draftee, claimed off waivers by Winnipeg last season. While he doesn’t have much NHL experience — just 15 NHL contests — he has some pretty impressive fights under his belt, including this tilt against Washington’s Aaron Volpatti:

And this one against New Jersey’s Krys Barch:

Yup, Peluso is one tough hombre. Very good re-signing this offseason. He’s not just a bruiser, the guy can actually play. As a bruiser, all of his fights have been unanimous decisions in his favor. He seems like a quiet guy with a small voice when he speaks but the guy has a switch that most guys wouldn’t want to see flicked on.

Wow. Those are some impressive bouts. Guy’s got a beast of a right hand.
