The Los Angeles Kings made two key roster moves on Monday, activated Jeff Carter from the injured reserve while placing Jonathan Quick on the LTIR (retroactive to Nov. 12).

Moving Quick to the long-term injured reserve is no shock, as the Kings revealed that he could be out at least another month with a groin injury. The 27-year-old has had an up-and-down season so far, while Ben Scrivens has impressed so far in relief.

The Kings’ offense has really dried up the last two games, as their two consecutive OT losses are hardly Scrivens’ fault. They’ve only scored a single goal in that duo of contests, so getting Carter back. The 28-year-old has five goals and nine points in 14 games this season after an almost-comical 26 goals and seven assists in 48 contests last season.

Los Angeles hopes to end this brief skid against the Canucks in Vancouver tonight.

Namriverrat69 – Hello friend. I recently had some computer problems and so I was subsequently left ‘speechless’ here at PHT … can you believe that crap ? Anyway, I’ve now got myself a new machine and therefore I’m back in business ! :) (ie: the only thing which concerns me though is that I can’t figure out yet how to post Elvis videos ? … but hopefully I’ll sort that out soon enough, God willing). Hope you’re watching the game here in Vancouver right now ? … “we’ve taken the fight to ground of his choosing and we are prevailing” … just like Robert E Lee might have said ? :) Anyway, be good and stay true to our team always eh ? You know I will, as ‘forever’ I will be a King, cheer-leading our cause from the salient of our glorious enterprise !

GO KINGS GO !!! … TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOREVER !!!!!!!! :)
