Blackhawks score twice in nine seconds to beat Canucks

It doesn’t carry the cultural currency of “17 seconds,” but the Chicago Blackhawks pulled off another stunning turnaround on Saturday, changing a 1-0 deficit to a 2-1 win against the Vancouver Canucks thanks to two goals in nine seconds.

Obviously, the game was about more than that surprising duo of tallies, but they ultimately decided the latest game in one of the NHL’s best contemporary rivalries.

Roberto Luongo might be too bummed to tweet something hilarious tonight, so if he needs a bright side to look on, at least there was no “Chelsea Dagger” playing, right?
