The Carolina Hurricanes will get a lineup reinforcement for Tuesday’s game against the Flyers and boy, do they need it.
Losers of five straight -- all in regulation -- the ‘Canes have activated veteran forward Radek Dvorak from injured reserve for tonight’s home date with Philly, the club announced.
Dvorak, 36, signed a one-year tender with Carolina after attending training camp on a PTO, and has two goals in 11 games, averaging over 12 minutes a night.
He’ll be a nice addition to a team that’s without a number of key contributors: Cam Ward, Jeff Skinner and Anton Khudobin, most notably.
