Videos: Kessel, Burrows ‘fight'; Lupul clobbers Kadri, Kassian cuts Bolland

Saturday’s Toronto Maple Leafs – Vancouver Canucks game has been testy, yet much of the action seems more silly than sinister.

Take, for instance, Phil Kessel‘s “fight” with Alex Burrows:

If that doesn’t dominate the blooper reel, Joffrey Lupul‘s accidental blow on Nazem Kadri will (vine via Tyler Dellow):

In grimmer news, David Bolland just left the ice with what appears to be an ankle injury. Here’s video of the unfortunate moment:

If Maple Leafs fans need a lift, this James Reimer pad save was nifty:

I wonder if he’ll catch a suspension for a flying elbow on his own teammate…

following NHL Burrows Protocol, Kessel was taken to the Leafs dressing room to complete an inventory of Phils fingers and ears before being allowed to continue…

with everything accounted for, it was confirmed Kessel’s ability to communicate with other drivers during Toronto rush hour traffic remains unimpaired

That’s a first for Kessel, he didn’t have to have two guys hold his opponent up while he wacks him with his stick! he’s learning a little at least.
