Video: Pens’ Dupuis pulls two teeth out, no big deal

Oct 30, 2013, 10:03 PM EDT

Hockey players aren’t like the rest of us. Beyond the ability to make skating backward look easy, they’re also really tough. Pittsburgh Penguins winger Pascal Dupuis provided another example on Wednesday, nonchalantly plucking two teeth out of his mouth after teammate Kris Letang accidentally caught him with a high stick:

It’s OK to cringe.

Embellishment on Letang. Worst call I’ve ever seen. Hockey on NBC sucks!!!

If they start allowing even the slightest embellishment, hockey becomes a joke like nfl and nba! There’s a reason hockey stays the greatest sport ever, it’s toughness and lack of crybabies!!!

Dupuis is tough as nails. Agreed on the diving penalty, has nothing to do with NBC though.

True NBC had nothing to do with that horrible call. My point being NBC games aren’t anything like day-to-day game. Typical calls aren’t called and PPs that should be awarded aren’t. Real rules go right out the window. Great action? Yes. Calls consistent with what happens every day? Not even close.

I’ve seen equally bad calls in every game, unfortunately…has nothing to do with the channel bud.

You do know that makes absolutely no sense right?

Who does Dupuis think he is, John Tavares?

Who do any of these people think they are, Duncan Keith? Puck to the face in the second period, lost seven teeth, barely missed a shift. Finished the game with 29:02 TOI, leading the team.

      Frickin’ hockey players, man.

Saw Ron Greschner go to bench and spit out 3 teeth and skate back to position ! Hockey players are a tough bunch !
