The St. Louis Blues have placed Magnus Paajarvi on injured reserve after the recently acquired forward was injured Saturday.

Paajarvi apparently has an upper-body injury. The 22-year-old who came to St. Louis from Edmonton in the David Perron trade has no points in four games with the Blues.

Also with an upper-body injury for St. Louis is veteran forward Brenden Morrow. According to NHL.com’s Lou Korac, Morrow was hurt last night versus Winnipeg and is considered day-to-day.

The Blues play Friday in Florida, where they’ll have the option of putting Maxim Lapierre back in the lineup after serving his five-game suspension.
