The St. Louis Blues have placed Magnus Paajarvi on injured reserve after the recently acquired forward was injured Saturday.

Paajarvi apparently has an upper-body injury. The 22-year-old who came to St. Louis from Edmonton in the David Perron trade has no points in four games with the Blues.

Also with an upper-body injury for St. Louis is veteran forward Brenden Morrow. According to NHL.com’s Lou Korac, Morrow was hurt last night versus Winnipeg and is considered day-to-day.

The Blues play Friday in Florida, where they’ll have the option of putting Maxim Lapierre back in the lineup after serving his five-game suspension.

We JUST resigned Chris Porter, and he played great in the playoffs last year with Cracknell and Reaves. CPR line sound familiar, Hitch? It was only the most talked about line at the end of the year. Forget Lapierre and Pajaarvi. They haven’t done crap, but Porter has proven his worth.

While you’re at it, cut Ian Cole. He is worse than Colaiacavo was when he played for us. I cringe every time he steps foot in the ice- all he does is pinch at the wrong time and get crushed by opponents.

Just what Hitch needs…..another back seat driver!

I’m sure Hitch is on here all the time…

So you’d rather see Lapierre? Blues have Perron the boot because his stupid penalties were hurting the team- did you watch the Blues-Sharks game?
