Rangers’ Stepan leaves game after heavy hit, but later returns

New York Rangers forward Derek Stepan left Wednesday’s game against the Washington Capitals after absorbing a heavy hit from Troy Brouwer.

Stepan, 23, did return later in the third period, as per the Rangers’ official Twitter account.
