New York Islanders fans had some anxious moments Friday, when the team’s captain John Tavares took a puck in the face during a game with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Below is a video of Tavares actually taking out a tooth, after getting hit with the puck. Like it was no big deal, right?

Tavares, 23, is off to a good start for the Islanders. He’s coming off a two-goal game three nights ago and has four points in three games to begin the season.
