Just watch it:

Of all days I dont bring extra underwear to work. Just a testament to the natural talent in the league.

  2. micasa81 - Sep 13, 2013 at 1:39 PM

Disabusing those of us who played hockey growing up of the fantasy that if we had “just tried a little harder” we maybe…just maybe…would have gotten a shot in the Big League.

  3. rflashj - Sep 13, 2013 at 1:41 PM

    Just sic.

  4. nj666 - Sep 13, 2013 at 1:46 PM

Thats awesome if its real. It looks like those pucks could be fake.

    • ibieiniid - Sep 13, 2013 at 2:01 PM

I don’t know if they’re fake or not, but I was almost more surprised with his ability to not kick ONE puck with his feet while stickhandling.

  5. anthj99 - Sep 13, 2013 at 2:05 PM

That’s absolutely him stickhandling. Check out Datsyuk videos doing the same thing. They’re both sick.

  6. ntvd7 - Sep 13, 2013 at 2:06 PM

    The hands on this kid!!!

Kane and Kovalev should face off against each other

  7. lostpuppysyndrome - Sep 13, 2013 at 2:11 PM

Boy, that Vapor stick is awesome! No way he could have done half that stuff with a different stick! Bet he didn’t bump into those pucks because of his amaza-zing skates too.

    • ibieiniid - Sep 13, 2013 at 2:19 PM

lighter stick = faster stick handling
faster stick handling = more sales

you’re new to this hockey thing, aren’t you?

      • ibieiniid - Sep 13, 2013 at 2:19 PM

        excuse me. hockey/marketing thing*

      • lostpuppysyndrome - Sep 13, 2013 at 3:08 PM

Yeah, I wish someone would explain this game to me. The puck moves too fast, it’s so violent, and the season is too long. I just don’t get it.

      • ibieiniid - Sep 13, 2013 at 3:37 PM

ok maybe you know about hockey (it was tough to tell from your first comment). but if you knew about PLAYING the game of hockey, you’d know that a stick makes a difference in stick handling.

      • lostpuppysyndrome - Sep 13, 2013 at 3:52 PM

lol, I kinda figured he couldn’t do that with an old Sher-wood 😉

  8. hockeydon10 - Sep 13, 2013 at 2:21 PM

I doubt it’s fake. Kovalev used to do this, too.. There is a commercial showing Datsyuk doing the same thing. They just might be #1 (Datsyuk) and #2 (Kane) best puck-handlers in the league.

  9. jacketsfan7 - Sep 13, 2013 at 5:17 PM

Tell us something we don’t know

  10. thedavesiknowiknow - Sep 13, 2013 at 6:33 PM

A quote Bill Murray in Ghostbusters is all that comes to mind: “AND THE FLOWERS ARE STILL STANDING…….”

  11. stakex - Sep 13, 2013 at 7:14 PM

Of course its not fake. A lot of guys in the NHL could do that, and hell… I’ve played with a few guys who didn’t make the NHL that are just as good of stick handlers. My own stick handling isn’t too far from being that good either. Also keep in mind that there are camera cuts, and there likely could have been several takes in which he clipped pucks or messed up that aren’t shown. That doesn’t make it fake though.

The thing is most people who play/watch hockey are just terrible or have no athletic ability, so something like this video amazes them. In reality, its not overly impressive to someone who actually has a bit of talent in the sport, especially when you consider this is what the guy does for a living.

Please see the comment from Micasa81 if you are wondering why no one on this board agrees with what you just wrote

    • anthj99 - Sep 13, 2013 at 9:27 PM

Too funny. When you say, “my own stick handling isn’t too far off…blah blah” do you think it’s a football field length away? I know it’s a relative term and really immeasurable, but I’m thinking at least a football field maybe even a par 5.

  12. kotteintheslot - Sep 13, 2013 at 7:25 PM

I heard somewhere that Patrick Kane was good at hockey

  13. LampyB - Sep 13, 2013 at 8:14 PM

  14. blackhawks2010 - Sep 13, 2013 at 9:05 PM

Kaner is scary good. Looking forward to another run to the Cup.

  15. BurkieInBoston - Sep 14, 2013 at 11:32 AM

This is coolest thing ever! Cup MVP well deserved for the hours he put in practice to do these amazing skills. I still want a rematch! Bs Hawksy

  16. kane987245 - Sep 15, 2013 at 2:04 AM

Dude, Kane already has HOF resume on him, and we NOW find out just how good he is at stickhandeling. I swear he could end up with 5 cups by the time he is 35 and Im being conservative with 5.
