The St. Louis Blues made Brett Hull’s return to the organization official on Monday via a press conference, revealing that his precise title is executive vice president.

Blues chairman Tom Stillman expects Hull to convert his on-ice glory to great work as a suit.

“Brett was a Hall of Famer on ice, and he’ll be a Hall of Famer in this capacity as well,” Stillman said.

There were certainly some warm-and-fuzzy feelings going around, especially when Hull put on that Blues No. 16 sweater again, which the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Jeremy Rutherford captured.

source:

“I never wanted to leave 15 years ago, and I’m glad I’m back, I can tell you that,” Hull said. “I just want to reiterate. I’m so glad to be back, I’m proud to be part of the Blue Note again, and let’s go Blues.”

The Blues shared this video celebrating Hull’s return to the organization.

Maybe he can show our team how to score. Mark my words, Petro will be back and that being said, if this team can find a way to fill the net…we’re a powerhouse. If they can learn to score, we at least make the conference finals barring an epic collapse in the way of injuries.

I would say if they can score then we’re cup favorites but this is a game of bounces and you just never know.

      Agree with Steele’s comments.

I get it that it’s a business, but you have to consider what’s at stake this season if all goes according to plan. The Blues have all the ingredients, now they just have to put it together and they can win this thing. But you can’t put it together if the guy on your team that plays the most night in and night out is up in Canada skating by himself.
