The Carolina Hurricanes agreed to terms on a deal with forward forward Zac Dalpe, the team announced on its website on Friday.

According to the club, it is a one-year, two-way deal that is worth $550,000 at the National Hockey League level.

Last season, Dalpe played in 10 games with the Hurricanes, scoring once and adding a pair of assists.

Dalpe is originally a draft pick of the Hurricanes. He was selected 45th overall in the 2008 NHL Draft.
