The Zajac brothers – Travis and Darcy – could find themselves on the same NHL team next season.

The New Jersey Devils signed the younger Zajac brother, Darcy, to a two-year, two-way deal, according to the American Hockey blog.

Travis Zajac is entering his eighth season with the Devils. In 2013, he scored seven goals and had 20 points in 48 games, as the Devils failed to qualify for the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Darcy Zajac, who turns 27 years of age in September, has spent parts of the last four years in the American Hockey League.

The last three seasons, he has played with the Albany Devils, but was not under contract with New Jersey.

In 2012-13, the right-handed shooting center scored nine goals and had 17 points in 67 regular season games with Albany.

And their oldest brother hosts Jeopardy.

I think the dead horse beating of a joke you tried is the Wheel of fortune host.

I, for one, enjoyed the joke despite the game show host mix up and would like to call into question the first responders credibility with claiming it’s beating a dead horse. Now I don’t live in New Jersey and maybe it’s different there but I feel we could use more Pat Sajak jokes.

He’ll spend most of this time in Albany, but who knows maybe he’ll make the big club.

    Useless contract.

Another in a line of younger brothers of Devils stars. Jordan Parise, Mike Pandolfo Stephen Gionta… If the trend holds up, it looks like Travis is headed to another team.
