Video: Jonathan Toews is healthy enough to score

Jun 24, 2013, 9:48 PM EDT

Sure, people said, Jonathan Toews might play in Game 6 … but will he really be 100 percent?

Maybe not, but it’s clear that he can contribute on Monday night. In fact, he scored Chicago’s first goal by using the threat of a pass to Patrick Kane just enough to beat Tuukka Rask on this 2-on-1:

Masterful stuff. Many will note that Zdeno Chara was on the ice and may have made a mistake on this play.

Bruins scraping, scuffling with a hint of desperation and wanton determination. Still may not be enough. The puck isn’t helping and neither are the bounces. And the Hawks seem to be getting their second wind.

Maybe when Boston wins the cup he’ll use not being 100% as an excuse

Chara looked absolutely out of sorts on this goal. Terrible neutral zone pinch. Missed the puck and the man, which was Toews. 33 has been in the ice for 9 of the last 10 goals. You think he’s tired?
