PHT’s Morning Skate takes a look around the world of hockey to see what’s happening and what we’ll be talking about around the NHL world and beyond.

Even given the success Sergei Bobrovsky has had in Columbus, were the Philadelphia Flyers right to trade him? (CSN Philly)

Sergeant Dale Dick surprised his family during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final with his return from his nine-month stint Afghanistan. Sgt. Dick, with the help of the Blackhawks, got his wife and two children invited to the game. It was also the first time that he saw his youngest kid, who was conceived just before he left. (Puck Daddy)

If Washington can’t re-sign Mike Ribeiro before he becomes an unrestricted free agent, who might the Capitals pursue as a replacement? (CSN Washington)

After a rough loss on Monday, the Chicago Blackhawks tried to refocus with some fierce games of Mario Kart. Uh, Bryan Bickell has more. (NHL.com)

That might help them unwind, but ultimately the Blackhawks need to solve their offensive woes. (CSN Chicago)

Of course, the Boston Bruins’ defense deserves some credit too. (CSN New England)

No doubt the Bruins go-to game is Super Smash Bros.

Awesome story of reuniting the family, well done Blackhawks. Love to see those moments happen.

this isn’t a story (the headline one). saying somebody ISN’T big on Mario Kart is the story. i’m with isithockeyseasonyet on the Kart 64 thought… although Sonic 1 for Genesis was up there too.
