    Love that Lucic moment with Burrows after he slashed tim thomas…set the tone for the rest of the series.

    The best part about this final I feel is that there was no inter-league play this whole year. There is nothing to base these two teams off of in regards to competition played other than the style of Hockey they play, which is extremely similar. I was surprised both Boston and Chicago handled Pittsburgh and LA the way they did, and it’s going to be one hell of a series. I’m thinking this will go 7+ games.

    I’d have to double check, but I think Hossa (CHI) and Ference (BOS) were teammates on a Memorial Cup winning Portland (WHL) team in ’98 or so. I think Brendan Morrow was also on that team.
