Poll: Who’s going to win the Stanley Cup?

Jun 12, 2013, 3:42 PM EDT

We’ve already given our predictions here. You can find more picks here.  Now, it’s your turn to vote.

Or, feel free to visit the comments section and go on a rant about predictions not meaning a thing, because, gee, we never thought about that. They don’t?

Just vote. It’s easy.

(It won’t mean a thing though.)

It would be easier if your poll appeared in the app ;)

    • pepper2011 - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:23 PM

I heard a lot of Pens in 3.

  2. ibieiniid - Jun 12, 2013 at 3:49 PM

hey I’m here for the rant.

  3. girouxed - Jun 12, 2013 at 3:53 PM

It’s too hard to tell yet bro

    • sanfranbruinsfan - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:20 PM

Agreed, I’m superstitious against picking my own team and the Hawks are too good of an opponent to break that trend. All I can say is that it takes 7 games to get past the Bruins.

  4. earpaniac - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:02 PM

    Hawks in 7

  5. shermanmattj - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:04 PM

    Boston in 6!!!

  6. stoopidfool - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:04 PM

    Bruins in 4

  7. hammerhead5573 - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:05 PM

1st team to 4 wins, will win the cup. Just sayin

    • ibieiniid - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:08 PM

nah with the depth of these two teams, it’s gonna take at least 5 wins to win this series.

      • dadawg77 - Jun 12, 2013 at 6:28 PM

Wow what a series. So good it got extended to best out 9.

      • ibieiniid - Jun 13, 2013 at 8:47 AM

        at least 9*

  8. r4n6er - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:11 PM

All this poll will show is which team’s fan’s use PHT more.

    • ibieiniid - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:25 PM

all this comment shows is that you don’t know the difference between possessive and plural.

      • jpelle82 - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:45 PM

        +1

  9. seabass231 - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:11 PM

I’d have to pick the Pens. From what I’m reading, they have their coach and franchise goalie in place.

    • thesableo - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:59 PM

I got a fever, and the only prescription is…more Pens articles!

  10. tripps3 - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:40 PM

I think Bruins – they swept the Pens in case you haven’t heard

  11. adambballn - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:52 PM

If you’re looking for a team to cheer for tonight… don’t forget.

    • thesableo - Jun 12, 2013 at 4:57 PM

…to cheer for Boston, who hates Jacobs more than anyone.

I mean seriously, the “columnist” from “Columnist blames Jacobs for NHL lockout” is a Bruins writer.

    • mrpinkca - Jun 12, 2013 at 5:25 PM

Because Rocky Wirtz played no part in big bad Jeremy’s lockout what so ever.

  12. govtminion - Jun 12, 2013 at 5:19 PM

No secret that I’m going for the B’s, but with an opponent of this caliber I’m expecting six games at least, probably the full seven, and at least a couple of OT games in there. This is going to be a close series- and a very fun one to watch.

Best of luck, Bruins- you’re going to need it for this one. Whatever the problem was that kept the Penguins down, it’s safe to say it won’t affect Chicago.

    • coolhandtuukk - Jun 12, 2013 at 5:57 PM

Is it safe to say? Not really, considering the “problem that kept the Penguins down” was in fact the Bruins…

      • govtminion - Jun 12, 2013 at 10:06 PM

Hard to argue with, but I never could shake the feeling that the Pens were more interested in throwing hits and jawing at the opposition than in scoring goals.

  13. nysportsrule - Jun 12, 2013 at 5:53 PM

Boston in 7. Being a Rangers fan this breaks my heart, but what can you do?

    • chicagobtech - Jun 13, 2013 at 2:07 PM

      Root for the Blackhawks?

  14. arbruins - Jun 12, 2013 at 6:11 PM

I am shaking in my boots now, NBCPHT has picked the Bruins to win…every team you pick loses. You need to start pumping up the Hawks tires or else the Bruins are done…oh crap!
HERE WE GO BRUINS, HERE WE GO!

  15. r8rbhawk - Jun 12, 2013 at 6:19 PM

Well, since there was no All Star game this year, it looks like the only way we will be able to settle the debate over which conference is better is through the SCF. May the best conference win…

Of course I am teasing about the validity of the All Star game being the deciding factor on which conference is better.

  16. phillyphanatic77 - Jun 12, 2013 at 6:22 PM

I haven’t been this excited about a Cup final since the Flyers were about to take on the Hawks. I think these teams are pretty evenly matched, so the series could go either way. But having watched both this postseason, I’m gonna give the advantage to the Bruins. Plus, the last Presidents Trophy team to win the Cup was the 07-08 Wings. Bruins in 6.

  17. clefty1 - Jun 12, 2013 at 6:30 PM

If Boston can shut down the Pens they can do the same to the Hawks. Boston also has the better goalie. B’s in 6.

  18. iwillfindyou - Jun 12, 2013 at 6:48 PM

Yeah but they shut them down because the Pens had two terrible goalies who couldn’t stop anything. The Pens just laid down like some punks. At least the Hawks had to play a great team in the Kings. I think because of the level of competition the Hawks had to endure, they are ready for the Bruins. We shall see though. GO BLACKHAWKS!!

  19. LampyB - Jun 12, 2013 at 6:55 PM

Let’s get the series started, media outlets no longer have anything interesting to talk about. And it’s killing me to read a bunch of filler.
