Video: Patrick Kane’s Game 5 hat trick

Jun 9, 2013, 12:35 AM EDT

The Chicago Blackhawks wanted more from Patrick Kane. He certainly delivered in Game 5 on Saturday.

The gifted American winger scored three of Chicago’s four goals against the Los Angeles Kings, including the series-clinching OT-winner. Let’s watch them in chronological order.

First, here’s 2-0 goal, which took place 5:59 into the first period:

Next, Kane made it 3-2 late in the third, which seemed like it would be the decisive tally:

Finally, here’s his 4-3 tally, which happened around the midway point of double OT:

Why did it have to be that dbag? Anyone else would of been fine. Go fight a taxi driver.

Seriously, that 22 cent jagbag is no better than the NFL players who beat and kill their girlfriends. Kids look up to that punk? He makes a total fool of himself in Chicago, partying and acting like a sloppy piece of trash. What’s going on with society?

Tell us what you really think of Kane. Getting in a fight with a cabbie is basically the same thing as murder? I’m guessing you’re not a lawyer.

you must be sh*tting puppies up there on your throne of morality

Wow, I’ve seen some salty fans after a series loss but that’s over the line man. You just look like a complete idiot.

Talking about making a fool of himself. Does your mama know how stupid you turned out?

    • no - Jun 9, 2013 at 1:48 AM

well, it certainly wasn’t anyone on the kings with a trick so…see ya later

you should know that the taxi driver is an a&&hole and has been since he was a kid in Lackawanna

Ha ha. The butthurt just oozes out of this witty, incredibly clever comment. Enjoy the finals…I know I still would HAVE rooted for the Kings if the Hawks had been eliminated.

    • jrhawk - Jun 9, 2013 at 10:22 AM

      Let the whining begin.

  2. rgledz - Jun 9, 2013 at 1:21 AM

Hey kingsforever and hockeyallday……you guys are really reaching tonight aren’t you? Didn’t that happen like 4 years ago with the cabbie? He was a 20 year old kid that did something stupid and you compare that to beating a woman and murder?? Wow. just……wow. Enjoy the off season fellas, we’re moving on to the finals!

    • dearyxd - Jun 9, 2013 at 1:42 AM

“He was a 20 year old kid that did something stupid”

and now he has a hairstyle like the 80’s taxi drivers…

Come on guys, show some class

  4. rebekah319 - Jun 9, 2013 at 10:37 AM

I respect Patrick Kane as a hockey player and all but cant say that I am happy that the Blackhawks made it even though I already had them in there its still completely painful on all levels.. yes I dislike the Blackhawks I always have so me being happy for them is not in my plans but I wish them good luck towards the end…..

  5. rwicinski - Jun 9, 2013 at 12:46 PM

No class from some of the Kings fans. The Hawks outworked and outclassed the Kings the whole series. Kings should have been more worried about scoring and defense rather than just trying to hit every Hawks player in sight. Goon hockey is not going to cut it against the best team in the league. GO HAWKS!!!

    • mnhockey17 - Jun 10, 2013 at 2:04 AM

I agree I think the Hawks were the better team and they showed it and thats why the series only went 5 games. Kings fans can say what they want their team was beat by a better hockey team!
