Video: Blackhawks’ Kane shaken up after Regehr hit

Jun 6, 2013, 11:15 PM EDT

Chicago Blackhawks’ forward Patrick Kane was briefly shaken up late in the second period, after being rubbed out along the boards by L.A. Kings’ defenseman Robyn Regehr.

Kane remained on the bench, as Dan Rosen from NHL.com pointed out on Twitter, and the Blackhawks got a power play out of it. Regehr was called for interference, with one minute remaining in the second period.

Congrats to Kane on his garbage goal… way to clean up on OTHER players effort.

    I’m pissed that this kid is… such a 4th liner… without Toews and Hossa… he’s NOTHING.

The Hawks have rightly expected him to LEAD a line… not need to be latched on to the teat of Toews.

Oh of course there was a penalty
If it had been the other way around the refs would have called it a good hit
