Vitale, Engelland replace Kennedy, Eaton for Pens in Game 2

If you believe the findings of one college professor, the Pittsburgh Penguins decided to make their MVP a healthy scratch for Monday’s Game 2 against the Boston Bruins.

Nope, it’s not Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin. That guy isn’t Kris Letang, either.

Instead, it’s Tyler Kennedy. (Hey, don’t kill the messenger.) The team is going with Joe Vitale in Kennedy’s place while Deryk Engelland slides into Mark Eaton‘s spot on defense.

While’s Joe Haggerty points out that some believed Kaspars Daugavins might draw into the lineup for Jaromir Jagr, it appears that the struggling veteran will play tonight.

It’s really difficult to even consider the Penguins losing this series, or really any series. Has there ever been a more loyal fan base? I mean when this team isn’t any good, the people still can’t wait to see their hockey club compete! They flood the arena! They can’t be kept away! I mean the thought that the league would need to BAIL them out once is unthinkable! And those who say it could possibly occur TWICE?? How dare they?! There are no greater fans, with no greater history, in the history of time!! GO PENS GO!!!

Still want Beach Ball in goal? What’s his save % so far for this game, 0.00%? And to think, all those Pens fans that were telling me today he was on the same level as Quick or Lundqvist! Where’s that dumbass miketoasty?

Who floods the arena when your team sucks? Idiot

    • villi5ed - Jun 3, 2013 at 8:46 PM

Hmmm, let me see. The Flyers. The Habs. The Rangers. The Leafs……etc, etc, etc.

      Have they needed TWO bailouts?

      • villi5ed - Jun 3, 2013 at 8:55 PM

Errrrr, my mistake! Have any of the above team needed ONE bail-out!? Has their fan base ever deserted them so that such an eventuality was ever even contemplated???? The notion that Pittsburgh is a hockey city is equal to the notion that black is white.

        IDIOT x 2

So you got 4 teams? Including 2 in canada and the other two with metro porpulations and economy about gazillion times the size of pittsburghs? And of course with 0 actual proof that they indeed “flood” the arena when they suck.

    Good job there, wanna cookie?

Do some research about why those events happened and then get back to me.
