Video: Andrew Shaw slashes Brad Richardson

Andrew Shaw has been scoring more often lately – including the opening tally in Game 2 on Sunday – but he’s mostly known for getting under the skin of opponents.

He did a little of both in the first period tonight, as Shaw got away with this slash on Los Angeles Kings forward Brad Richardson:

The good news is that Richardson appeared to be good enough to skate for a few shifts later in the opening frame. Still, Shaw isn’t making friends in Los Angeles.

    Cheap shot by Shaw but Richards sold that.

    Same jerk who slew-footed Valteri Filpula out of game 7 with Detroit. No penalty, no suspension. What, because he isn’t Raffi Torres or Matt Cooke, he can get away with it?
