Video: Mike Milbury isn’t so sure about Tomas Vokoun

Jun 1, 2013, 6:57 PM EST

Here’s one stat that isn’t surprising: Jonathan Quick came into Saturday with the best save percentage of the playoffs. The second place guy might raise a few eyebrows in some quarters: Tomas Vokoun.

Mike Milbury, for one, doesn’t think that the 36-year-old goalie will keep up his strong work. He’s put up great numbers (often on bad teams) in his career, yet can he continue to do it in the postseason? Milbury and Keith Jones discuss that in the video below.

Please, enough of this nonsense. Unless you don’t watch hockey or are just a huge Fleury fan you can’t come up with anything to discredit Vokoun that makes any sense. He is solid at worst which is enough with this roster.

Lol, what else is new? Milbury talking out of his a$$.
He’s been saying he’d have stayed with Fleury. No wonder you completely blew as a GM.
There’s no doubt if Fleury was still in we would be golfing right now.

Who cares what this idiot thinks… Wasn’t he the guy that signed Yashin & DiPietro to massive deals in NY? The guy is worthless…

I think Snow signed Dipietro to that contract.

I don’t know…he has a real eye for talent. Just look at his track record.

Hmmm…I think mike may be correct here!

naw, tomas played a decent game. on the third goal, two bruins were by themselves in front of the net. where the hell was the defense tonite.

While there may be a reason he wasn’t the clear-cut #1 for nearly all of his career, there’s nothing saying a goalie can’t become that good this late in his career.
