Video: Patrick Sharp gives Chicago 1-0 lead

May 29, 2013, 9:30 PM EDT

The Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings have kept things as tight as expected in Game 7 on Wednesday, but there’s too much talent on the ice to contain everyone for a full 60 minutes.

Patrick Sharp showed as much by scoring the 1-0 goal thanks to a pretty tic-tac-toe play with Marian Hossa and Michal Handzus.

You guys keep commenting on what a great job the officials are doing, yet Shaw’s non-hockey BS injures Val Filppula and takes him out of the whole game and THAT is a good non-call?

Yup, but notice that Filp was the one that came over to ‘rescue’ Zet…& ended up on his butt, hurt. THAT’S why it was correctly a non-call.

NBC, please stop covering any hockey …anywhere, forever. Dave Strader and “Razer” Reaugh should be freed from their non-competes to apply elsewhere.

GREAT job officials!?!?! Come on NBC at least make an attempt at a legitimate hockey broadcast…the end of the 3rd period was literally a crime, but great job on the make up, non-call BOARDING that did lead to the game winning goal…a Wing tackled on a break away tonight with no call, but a penalty shot in the last game???? Your announcing and Bettman suck up is just as bad as the officiating tonight!
