Video: Henrik Zetterberg ties it up

May 29, 2013, 10:26 PM EDT

An interesting streak was in danger of coming to an end in Game 7 on Wednesday. Henrik Zetterberg had scored at least one goal in all 20 of his career playoff series, but he didn’t have any against the Chicago Blackhawks in six games.

Perhaps he was saving that tally for a time when the Detroit Red Wings needed it the most, as he tied the contest 1-1 on this nice one-timer finish early in the third period:

In every Hawks playoff game with national coverage, the so-called Hawks fans should have to have Mickey Redmond as color man and Larry Murphy “in the a$$.” They’d still suffer less than anyone with Eddy Uphuck and Peeair. …Muting sound again.

I’m indifferent to Olczyk, but Pierre is surpassing annoying. I did love it though when he brought up how he coached in the NHL (as if that means he knows what he’s talking about); it was a losing record in less than a full season.

Wow. If Saad doesn’t retaliate on Quincey shoving him over the bench and then tossing him to the ice, the Hawks are probably celebrating the series win right now.

Nah, if the ref didn’t make a call so bad that its looks better if he is on the take, the Hawks would be celebrating
