Michal Handzus got the Chicago Blackhawks started. Bryan Bickell followed suit and Michael Frolik capped it off.

Handzus and Bickell scored goals less than five minutes apart, giving the Blackhawks a quick 3-2 lead early in the third period after they began the final 20 minutes down by a goal and in need of a win to force Game 7 in this Western Conference semifinal series.

Frolik later scored what turned out to be the winner on a penalty shot, as the Blackhawks held on for a 4-3 win.
