The San Jose Sharks are fighting to get back into their second-round series against the Los Angeles Kings, but at this rate, they might not make it through a longer series.

Those familiar with Martin Havlat‘s injury history probably aren’t shocked to hear that the fragile winger is questionable to return during the same contest he came back from his latest ailment. The big worry, then, is that Logan Couture might not finish the game, either.’s Kevin Kurz believes that Couture hurt his left leg when it went awkwardly into the boards. The Edmonton Journal’s Jim Matheson worries that the 24-year-old might have been cut by a skate. Either way, it’s a situation to watch, as Couture was an All-Star last season.

At least Scott Hannan returned from what looked like an injury, right Sharks fans? Right?

Update: Couture returned to action with 1:13 left in the second period, so we’ll see if he can fight through it.

It may surprise you to hear this- but I’m probably not alone in saying that I really pay no particular attention to any predictions you may have made in past posts- so I’m going to assume that you predicted that Couture was going to return from his injury and score an overtime winner? Cheers- predictions that exact rarely end up coming true!

It may surprise you to hear this, but I have no idea who you are, don’t post here often, and make predictions even less often; in fact I believe I have made a total of 4 in the past two years or so on here, and they were right.

No, I didn’t “predict Logan would come back from an Injury and score the OT winner” I may be blind, but I don’t see that above ^ 😉.

It wasn’t a prediction, more a fact that the Sharks, or any team, are screwed without their best player. I have been watching Logan closely all year, as I had him on my fantasy team.

    Havlat is totally useless

Havlat has the best job in the world! Being paid millions of dollars a year to be injured. Why teams trade for and sign this guy is a huge mystery to me, he contributes nothing because he is always hurt.

I wont go as far as saying he is useless but I’m a Hawks fan and he pissed and moaned on his way out of town and they won the cup the next year without him.
