PHT Morning Skate: Caps owner feels he personally ‘let the community down’

Forward Saku Koivu is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The Anaheim Ducks want to re-sign him, but Koivu needs some time to think about his future. (Ducks.nhl.com)

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville has some lineup decisions to make for Game 1 tonight. Among them is whether or not forward Ben Smith will get a chance to play. He centered the second line during Tuesday’s practice, but Smith isn’t expected to serve in that role when the Blackhawks host the Red Wings. (CSN Chicago)
