Video: Crosby, Tavares duel in Game 5

Hockey is a team sport, but it’s still fun to look at playoff series as battles between big stars. That’s especially true when marquee talents deliver.

John Tavares and Sidney Crosby have already produced some jaw-dropping moments in Game 5. As you can see in this video, Tavares beat Paul Martin but couldn’t best Tomas Vokoun on a dazzling play:

Later on in the second period, Crosby split the Islanders defense for a goal that might just silence people who are worried that the Penguins star isn’t quite right:

Maybe Crosby really isn’t 100 percent, but it’s clear that he can still be a game-breaker. Tavares isn’t half-bad either.
