For the first time in the Pittsburgh Penguins-New York Islanders series, it looks like James Neal and Sidney Crosby will play in the same game.

Neal, who missed two games with a lower body injury, skated alongside Jarome Iginla and Evgeni Malkin during the team’s pregame warm-up, according to Newsday’s Arthur Staple.

It looks like Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik (lower body) is also probable and will be paired up with Paul Martin. Orpik hasn’t played yet in this series, but he was by far the team’s most prolific player when it came to blocked shots during the regular season with 114 in 46 contests.

Pittsburgh has a 2-1 series lead after earning a 5-4 overtime victory on Sunday.

Update: The Penguins have confirmed that Neal and Orpik will return tonight.

Nope. You’re just some loser who sits in his mom’s basement on his mom’s computer because you have no friends and you have no life…

Flyers are golfing loser. Mom give you an extension on bedtime?

On paper this line would be a #1 on most teams in the NHL. Glad to have these guys. I hope they can gel quickly.

Uh, Ryan… Jason kind of already wrote about this… same picture and everything. Only difference is “maybe” is now “confirmed.” Does that merit a completely new article?

Pens will be scary good with a full healthy roster in sync

    • burgh916 - May 7, 2013 at 8:55 PM

We’ll be “scary good” when Fleury is sitting on the bench. Holy sh*t. I’ve never been a Fleury fan, and spent the last ~6 years arguing how he isn’t as good as the people/media here want us to believe. I’m tired of our fans touting 2009 around – we’ll wind up with that being our “1975” if we keep this bum.
He played pretty solid for the most part this season. The last 3 regular season games he was in for he started slumping hard, now look at him. I’m tired of hearing people blame D. I’m a fellow goalie myself and I’d rather face 40+ shots and gobble a rebound than 20 cross ice shot attempts. There’s a reason they throw them from anywhere on Fleury. Wake up people, he’s scored 4 or 5 on himself, not to mention how soft the others have been. I’m fed up, not worth 5 mil/yr no way.

These animals in NY don’t deserve a win. A kid that looked about 8 giving Malkin the finger in the box. A bottle on the ice. Classy.

  6. philly4lyfe - May 7, 2013 at 9:35 PM

wow what a joke MAF is. he is just giving goals away out there.

  7. penzfan329 - May 7, 2013 at 9:37 PM

Malkin might have alot of points but man he has some stupid and costly plays but yea the last goal might be it for fleury. Vokoun game 5 please

  8. philly4lyfe - May 7, 2013 at 9:40 PM

and just like the flyers series last year, the pens can’t take losing or being hit. throwin cheap shots after the horn and earlier in the game malkin got up and tried to tackle soneone after he took a clean, hard check. so typical of the classless pens organization. luckily you got yoyr #1 overall pick all star in net to give the series away anyway. rofl.

    • pens5829 - May 7, 2013 at 9:55 PM

I think it’s hilarious when Cryer fans comment that other teams are taking cheap shots when it’s known league-wide the biggest goons hands down come from the team in Eastern, Pa.

  9. philly4lyfe - May 7, 2013 at 10:29 PM

yes we missed the playoffs. I didn’t realize that somehow prevented me from being a hockey fan and still watching the games and having an opinion on them. and speaking of the most well known cheap shot artists, how many suspensions was your team given in the playoffs last year because they were being petulant babies that can’t take losing or being hit? I believe it was 3. it was so bad that james neal had to have two hearings from incidents on one shift! even your teams owner was embarrassed by their actions. but please, keep telling me who the biggest goons in the league are some more.
