Sens’ Karlsson addresses costly turnover…via Twitter

May 3, 2013, 11:23 PM EST

Erik Karlsson has a message for critics after his egregious gaffe during Friday’s 3-1 loss to Montreal:

That Popeye-like statement was delivered via Twitter this evening, hours after Karlsson badly turned the puck over to Habs forward Ryan White for the game’s opening goal:

It was a rough night for Karlsson overall.

Aside from the White turnover, he failed to score a point (after notching three in Game 1), and finished with a minus-1 rating with just two shots.

That said, he didn’t shy away from questions after the game. Nor did his confidence appear to be shaken.

“I’m probably going to do that a few more times in my career,” he said.

I still can’t get over him winning the Norris last year, what a travesty.
