Flames’ MacDonald falls ill after loss to Blackhawks

Joey MacDonald began Friday night as the Calgary Flames’ starting goaltender against the Chicago Blackhawks, but will remain in The Windy City due to illness.

MacDonald made 35 saves in a 3-1 loss to the Blackhawks.

    A steady diet of rubber will do that to you every time…

    Get better Joey, loved your time in Detroit and can only remember one off game…big shoes to fill in Calgary but you’re there!

    Flames have winner here and I think their fans will like this guy big time…

    He did take a puck off the mask. Perhaps he went to the locker and puked from being concussed. If he was as I’ll as it sounds, he did pretty damn good all things considered.
