Suspensions announced after Quebec junior-league brawl

The QMJHL has suspended 12 players, plus both coaches, after last night’s post-game brawl between the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada and Baie-Comeau Drakkar.

The coaches, Eric Veilleux and Jean-François Houle, were suspended two games each.

Here are the player suspensions:

Ryan Tesink, 2 games
Aaron Hoyles 1 game
Étienne Marcoux 1 game
Guillaume Decelles 1 game
Yassin Cissé 1 game

Baie-Comeau
Jérémie Gregoire 1 game
Bokondji Imama 2 games
Gabriel Verpaelst 1 game
Philippe Cadorette 1 game
Francis Desrosiers 1 game
Alec Jon Banville 1 game
Alexandre Ranger 1 game

The clubs were also fined $5,000 each.

    That sucks for the Armada. If I’m not mistaken Marcoux is the starting goalie.
