Just about any hardcore hockey fan will tell you that a great game doesn’t need a ton of goals, it just needs a lot of action. Really, some of the sport’s most exciting moments happen when the score stays the same.

Specifically, some of hockey’s most amazing saves serves as equally fantastic moments as the flashiest scores. With that, here’s the 10 best saves of the 2013 season … at least unless something tops them in this final week:

    No question what number one was, I don’t think I’ll ever forget that save.

    Is it just me or is that a crappy video? It looks likes highlights from the 1970s !

    Most underrated part of this video (and similar ones) is the reaction of the players when they get robbed. They didn’t show it on this video but when Miller robbed Neal, he was skating back to the bench and the camera caught him smiling and then saying a four letter word and phrase that would seem to suggest that Neal was interested in fornicating with himself.

    Pekka really didn’t perform well this year, hopefully they make it to the playoffs at least next year…
