The Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Penguins will play Saturday at TD Garden at 12:30 p.m., ET, as per a statement from the National Hockey League on Friday evening.

The two teams were supposed to play Friday, however the game was postponed due to the manhunt for the remaining Boston Marathon bombing suspect, which concluded Friday evening when Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev was apprehended in Watertown.

Watched it live earlier. Glad there were no further injured in the arrest.

Any word on if it will be televised? Currently (at least in the DC metro area) NBC is showing some random filler shows during that slot, NHLN has panthers-devils @1, and NBCSN has “spring college football.”

It would be pretty bogus to have it featured friday, then not show it because it was postponed!!

What an amazing evening in the Boston region! Thanks to all the law enforcement officials who did a great job. Thanks to all the civilians who helped with information and other support. Best wishes to all those suffering with severe physical and emotional injuries and grievous personal losses from this agonizing week. Now it’s the turn of our legal system to sort this out and deal with the accused. However imperfect it is, let’s trust them to do their work.
And West, Texas, we’re pulling for you too.
Now let’s drop pucks and bat some baseballs.

Now time for Gitmo, waterboarding and the truth. Then send him to trial in China for the murder of a young lady. China has death penalty, Mass. does not.. And get the parents that spawn this evil vermin off the TV . Tired of hearing their denials and refusal to accept a nano of responsiblity for this hatred of mankind.

I prefer the uncle’s account: loser that has brought shame on his family and the Chechen people….and hey, let’s throw in mankind while we’re at it.

    Badintent,

Pretty sure he’ll go to federal court…it was an act of terror…and he killed a cop.

Yup. It is a federal case. The scumbag will fry.

Nope, he’s going to deal. Spill his guts in exchange for life in a tiny windowless box.

Death is too easy for this scumbag. He’s 19, so that’s a lot of years in a box, likely at Leavenworth. He won’t have any contact with other prisoners because they would murder him. 50-70 years in solitary confinement isn’t a just punishment, but its the best (worst?) the gov’t can give him.

Now beat Cynthia Crosby & crew!

    Go Bruins!
