As has become the trend, all the big names have been moved before the deadline and TSN et. al. have almost an entire day of airtime to discuss fourth liners being swapped for picks.

P.S. if the Leafs trade for Kipper or give up anything of value for Lu then I quit.

OF COURSE all the big names have been moved before the deadline. They can’t move AFTER the deadline. That’s why it’s a DEADLINE.

I love how NHL gm’s have conspired together to ruin all tradecenter shows. Should be great television tomorrow as we watch them grasp at straws and hope for a trade. TSN is praying the leafs trade for a goalie! That would need atleast 4 hours of instant analysis

…..and if that happens the analysis would centre around the question, “How did JFJ pull such a discreet Hannibal Lecter, stealing Dave Nonis’s face and running the Leafs front office at the deadline without the FBI noticing?”

Yeah…..deadline day sucks almost as much as July 1 now.

Does anyone else see the Irony here… Holmgren trades for Bobrosky’s backup. Oh its hard being a Philly fan this year.
