I love hockey, first of all. There are just so many good NHL stories that go unreported by this site, but they write a whole article on 4th line nobody?? And I’ll comment and waste my time however I like.

Devils once again building a four line deep team. With the addition of another winger, look for Zubrus to slide to center upon return or see Josefson recalled. Going to be interesting to see how DeBoer arranges the lines- he’ll have plenty of options.

Dags is a classic counter-attacking forward. Good speed, good hands, heavy and quick shot. Spring him loose and he’ll score more often than not. He’s not a plus defensive player… but he’s not awful either. Look forward to seeing him get back in the scoring groove.

He’s one of those guys that will make a brilliant play, but then disappear the rest of the game…also has a tendency to make bone-headed plays on a semi-regular basis. He has great tools, not sure the mental side is there for the potential to manifest.

D’Ags is inconsistent. He has had a difficult time with one-timers, doesn’t always play well away from the puck. Speed to burn, solid shot when he gets it off (surprisingly quick). Can create his own shot.

Loktionov is a much better player than D’Ags.

Hopefully, this move will come at the right time for D’Agostini. It’s tough to get into the flow of the game/ learn teammates when he’s been shifted from line to line and, seemingly, not been able to crack higher than 3rd/ 4th line duty.

He’s gotten stronger on his skates and on the boards this year, but that might also be because he’s not seeing as much ice time as in years past.

Lots to like about D’Agostini. Decent potential. Hasn’t put it all together yet.

The Devils rarely keep lines together for more than two games. He’ll probably get a shot playing with nearly everyone on the team.

hes kind of small but a feisty player. the problem was a numbers game with the blues and he was the oddman out. give him top 6 minutes and not an injury fill in which i hope he isnt going to be with the devils.

congrats devils you guys got a really good player. fast, good on the boards, and a bomb for a shot. fell out of the blues plans this year but certainly will bounce back.
