I don’t believe he will have a great impact… But how could we ever know.. he was playing with Hecht, and other players with low skill levels you can’t expect a player to grow and understand the game by putting him in the minors he has to play in the NHL to learn the speed and nuances of the game… And historically the team has a history of stifling young talent. He may not be a top level player now but with time and the proper mentors he will get there faster. And your tag is travishenryskid… That explains everything anyone needs to know about you.

I assume you mean that he stifled Grigorenko. If you think that Grigorenko is an NHL level player right now, I know all I need to know about your hockey acumen.

Minnesota already has Backstrom so no way they would be interested in Miller. Vanek on a line with Parise and Koivu would be sweet but no cap room for a move like that and Coyle is doing pretty well for a lot cheaper. The Sabres have too much talent to be where they are in the standings right now.

Buffalo, Philadelphia, and Washington are underachieving BAD this year. On paper, these rosters are very good….

The Rangers on paper had the most impressive team going into the season. Not sure how they are 9th, but I expect them to get their $hit together

Beg a team to take Stafford 4.0 mill, Miller 6.25 mill look at his stats they’re pedestrian in every year except one. Pomonville 5.25 mill good value for guy who has packed it in. Frees up 15.25 for free agency, a nice gift for a new GM

Yeah Darcy trade them then you can draft a talented young player with tons of potential and stifle his growth by sending him to the AHL or OHL.. Before any free agents before any trades are made … Darcy must be fired. That’s the only real way to get this team moving. A new set if eyes is necessary.. Someone with no attachment to the current roster

Players most likely to get moved are the UFA’s at the end of this season…I’m not saying others are untouchable, but Darcy for sure will try to sell these guys first.
Hecht, Regehr(NTC), Leopold, Sulzer, Pardy.

From the GM’s perspective, Miller, Vanek, and Pominville(NTC), could be moved for the right price, as their contracts are up at the end of 2014 season….Minnesota could be a place for Miller in my opinion. Vanek and Pominville could go to any team with the salary cap space as a rental player

If this team can get its crap together and play with to their possible potential, they have a real shot at making the playoffs.
