New York Rangers forward Rick Nash won’t face any supplemental discipline for hitting Florida forward Tomas Kopecky on Thursday night, according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie.
McKenzie reports both the Rangers and Panthers organizations have been told Nash will not be punished for this hit:
Nash wasn’t penalized on the play. Kopecky left the ice momentarily, but returned to score an empty-net goal — his team-leading 12th of the year — to secure Florida’s 3-1 win.
