I am sorry you feel that way, but I have to balance a life and don’t have time to watch every game. I have only watched about 8 games of the Pens this year and this is what I saw. Just trying to get my blog out there.

I read your article as your little blurb seemed to indicate that the Pens were employing some new type of defense like a trap, lock or an overload and basically you just wrote they were playing defense. No critical analysis or details. I feel like I was ripped off. I want my money back.

Things I love:

1) Barely literate Flyers fans saying “better hope Flyers don’t make playoffs…” all while forgetting that the Pens bounced them 2 of 3 recent playoff series. One while advancing to win the trophy.

2) Sitting back all week & watching teams jump the Flyers in the standings (TB, Wash…) It’s not even just the seeded teams they need to catch anymore.

3) Karmically reading this goons posts about Pronger while remembering all the filth directed @ Sid from Philadelphia during his concussion injury.

Great win. Pens were very sleepy in the 1st period, but they picked it up in the following periods. Vitale has been playing real well, and I hope he stays in the lineup when Geno comes back. (Disco is wrong on this one, Vitale is way better than Jeffrey) Pens have been playing very well in front of Vokoun. Chris Kunitz is on FIRE!! I am also happy for Sutter and his line to get the winner. Great effort all around. Now go get Philly.

You grow up. Letang is in the Norris discussion every year and leads the NHL in points for Defenseman. Geno (when he’s healthy) is a force to be reckoned with, like Sid.
