Why would you want the #4 seed? That is probably one of the worst seeds to have! I’d rather have home ice throughout the playoffs than only have home ice for the first round! Plus that would mean the Penguins would have a epic collapse! You don’t want to go into the playoffs like that.

Absolutely. Both need to sit until they’re 100%. Need ‘em at that level when it really counts. A playoff spot is all but secured. I couldn’t care less if they are the first or fourth seed.

I’d play them as soon as they are able and confident their injuries are completely healed regardless of the team they play. Both Montreal and Philly get into the Penguins heads so I don’t think the team they return against matters as long as they’re ready.

I wouldn’t play Malkin or Letang Sunday against Philly I’d play against Montreal.

I don’t think they necessarily need them tonight. Seems better to rest them for Sunday’s matchup vs flyers.
