Video: Sharks’ Boyle scores shootout winner versus Oilers

Mar 21, 2013, 1:34 AM EDT

Dan Boyle has made it clear: He wants to stay with the San Jose Sharks.

His name has been linked to trade rumors, especially in the lead-up to the April 3 NHL trade deadline.

On Wednesday, his name was called in the shootout and the veteran defenseman made the most of his opportunity. He scored the winning goal in the skills competition, thanks to a beautiful move on the Edmonton Oilers goalie Devan Dubnyk, in a 4-3 victory for the Sharks.

They can’t trade Boyle, he is their primary defenseman, and he SCORES goals. Just dump Demers and call it a day :P
