I cant believe Markham hasnt told these guys to beat it. They want the city to pay for it, then be exempt from taxes bc of everything theyre going to bring to the city. This sounds like a pipe dream and also eerily similar to the Coyotes business model. FAIL! Im not saying Markham or another Toronto suburb should not get a team, just saying this isnt the way to get a stadium for one.
