Why is this even a topic. If they played for TO this topic is a non topic. Great players in any sport earn the big bucks and for those of you that are complaining I ask – was it you that wrote the cheque for Perry and Getzlaf? As far as I’m concerned there should NOT be cap and players can earn as much or as little as the offer that is presented to them. English soccer, free market

Owners never learn. Very few players sustain for more than a few years. In a couple of years they will be trying to figure out how to dump them.
