Sergei’s bonehead line change ended up on most every big sports news outlet to some degree or another. Barry didn’t have to do a -thing- to embarrass Sergei, he did that himself…and he almost refused to speak to the media entirely, but gave a few short quotes to Joshua Cooper of the Tennessean after rethinking it.

Considering this stupid move came after coming off being scratched the game previously for a lack of performance and effort, of course he’s going to be scratched again. I love Sergei, but I hope he realizes that he needs to step it up.

It’s pretty egregious. I don’t think for a second a pro hockey player makes that play. McKenzie should look into it. It wouldn’t hard to look at his play over the season and how much money has been bet on Nashville. McKenzie would rather just repeat what others say or post a Meeker-ism, but someone should take a look at least.
